
Miss Farrell’s Language Arts classes wrote and staged their own short story fantasy plays. Today, they performed them for a live audience at the reading garden.


Congratulations to our Dwyer 5th grade students for participating this past Saturday at the NJ Elementary Honors Band Festival. Our representatives worked all day on their music and then performed at the culminating afternoon concert. We are proud of you!

Students learned about the life and art of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair during March for Women’s History Month.
Inspired by her art and colors, the students of the 4th grade, 5th grade and 2nd grade worked together to create their own “small world” murals for Dwyer school.

5th graders got to investigate at “Camp Crime Scene” and use their detective skills to solve the text structure mystery. The stations had students connecting clue words, defining key terms and building visuals.
